Herbs and spices are part of every national kitchen. They improve food taste and also improve body function and lead to better health. Our ancestors had used herbs and spices as a home remedy. Today they are also part of home remedies and also nutritionist recommend them.

Mint – improves digestive system function. Mint has a huge benefits of digestive system. Mint tea improves digestive system function, calms stomach pain and stomach cramps, effects positively against nausea, diarrhea, bloating and flatulence and irritable bowel. Mint tea is also used against cold, respiratory and sinus problems.

Parsley – improves cardiovascular system. Parsley keeps cardiovascular system and acts positively against high blood pressure. It is rich in vitamin C and vitamin A that boots the immunity. Parsley tea also helps in problems with urinary infections. Chewing fresh parsley reduces “bad” smell and fresh parsley on the skin, reduces bruises.

Rosemary – improves brain function and concentration. Powerful antioxidant that helps increasing of blood flow to the brain and protects the brain from free radicals. In this way reduces the risk of stroke and Alzheimer’s. This herb also improves concentration and memory. It is believed that rosemary improves blood circulation and improves digestive function.

Cinnamon – regulates high sugar levels in the blood. Cinnamon with oatmeal is an excellent choice for diabetics. Regularly daily intake of cinnamon reduces “bad” cholesterol to 30%.  It also has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.

Turmeric – huge anti-cancer properties. Turmeric is a part of curry spice. Few researches had proved that this spice acts against cancer cells. Substances that are part of turmeric, prevents tumor cells growing.  Scientist says that this spice prevents colon cancer and skin cancer.
